You can't pour from an empty cup
Self care is the most important and unselfish thing you can do.

In order to meet our daily responsibilities and care for others we need to we care for ourselves. If we don’t, we deplete our physical and mental resources and we end up trying to pour from an empty cup.
Consider that self-care is more than taking care of your physical health (sleep, diet, exercise etc.) and your mental and emotional health (meditation, emotional regulation, getting support and help etc.). It is also taking care of your intellectual health (continuing to learn, trying new activities, playing mentally challenging games etc.), social health (connecting with people you like and enjoy on a regular basis), your professional health (finding fulfillment, meaning and pleasure in your work or volunteering) and your spiritual health (finding something bigger than yourself to believe in—science, the next generation, love or a faith based system). If you take care of all of these they your cup will be full.
Try making a list of 50 self-care things you can do for yourself. Include things your future self will thank you for. If it's hard--then you likely need to practice more self-care
