About Janet Martin

Janet Martin, the owner and principal teacher of Making Headway, brings a unique and practical perspective to her mindfulness teaching and coaching.

Janet began her mindfulness practice when she was a senior executive. The experience was life changing. She knows firsthand that through meditation practice, people are better able to meet the demands and stresses of everyday life.

Today, she dedicates her time to helping others learn practical techniques to reduce stress, improve health, increase personal happiness and be more effective.

Janet's mindfulness teaching style is down to earth, practical and actionable. Equally at ease beginners and experienced meditators, she deftly blends western science and eastern thinking into easy to understand explanations of how and why the various mindfulness practices work.
